4 suites for Viola da Gamba (in D major, G minor, D minor and D minor)
Manuscript D 189 is rather composite and compiled by different scribes; it is also known as the ‘Losy manuscript’, from Jan Antonin Losy, one of the composers included. It contains mainly tablatures for plucked instruments; these 4 suites and an instruction on fol. 3r for tuning the six-string bass viol in D are its only contributions to the viola da gamba.
