The manuscript Rés 1111 contains 5 pieces with the name of the author “Mons. Dubuisson”: on pp. 184v-185v (Allemand) and 193v-197r (Preludium, Alemand, Courant, Saraband). Moreover the Ballet at pp. 190v–191r can be attributed to Dubuisson thanks to a concordance in the manuscript PL-Wtm R 221, PL-Wtm R 221, f. 36r. The 8 pieces on the pages in between (pp. 185v-193r) have also sometimes been attributed to Dubuisson, but concordances reveal that a Courant (pp. 185v-186r) is by François Dufaut, and a Courant and a Saraband by Nicolas Hotman (pp. 191v-193r). Given this situation, it is therefore not at all obvious that the remaining four unnamed pieces (pp. 187v-190r) are also by Dubuisson. (Private comunication François Goy).
