4 of the 5 airs had been published in the original version for voice and basso continuo in: Samuel Columbus, Odae Sveticae, Stockholm, Eberdt, 1674. Samuel Columbus is the author of the poems in Odae Sveticae, but the dedication reveals that the melodies are by Gustaf Düben.
