Manuscript D.249 contains sonata II and three different versions of sonata IV: no. 4 contains a version for bass viol and b. c. with a different choice and order of movements and many minor changes, and a version for three bass instruments (most probably 2 viols and bass); no. 18 I and II are sonatas II and IV with interesting variations compared to the printed version, including some completely new movements. It is conceivable that this version is independent of the printing.
Manuscript D-WD 898, dated 1722, contains sonata IX. It is in two partbooks for viol and bass; the viol partbook is missing the pages after the beginning of Allemande. The manuscript is certainly a copy of the printed edition, as can be deduced from the general fidelity to the original and from a smaller copying error at the end of the Adagio.
Manuscript GB-DRc A.27 contains soantas 2-3, 6-8, 11-12, 14-15 without bass, and single movements from sonatas 1-2, 5, 9, 11, 13 with bass. It refers explicitly to the printed edition and is therefore certainly a copy of it.
Manuscript S-Ska contains 5 movements from sonata II, without bass.
