There are two sheets with these two separate parts on one side and a part of another, unrelationed piece on the other. The two sheets were mistakenly placed in the folder with score and parts of the cantata "Ach, wo bin ich hingerathen" Werner Menke, Thematisches Verzeichnis der Vokalwerke von Georg Philipp Telemann, Frankfurt, Klostermann, 1988 1.42 by Georg Philipp Telemann, with which they have nothing in common.
The short sonata contains an aria, to be repeated four times, in which violin II and viola da gamba are silent. It is probably a theme with variations for violin I and b. c.
The final section of the Sonata offers to the viol some idiomatical chords.
