The ms. contains moreover 5 pieces for viol by Nicolas Hotman, 4 of which bears his name and 1 - without title but referred to as Prelude - is here anonymous but in other sources attributed to Hotman (see).
In its last part, after some empty pages, the manuscript contains pieces for an unspecified high instrument and bass, and for voice and bass. These are unrelated to the pieces for viola da gamba on the first pages.
