In the printed instrumental bass part, labelled Viola Basso, the parts of the other motets are for Trombone, Fagotto, Viola or Viola basso.

In «Pie pelicane» the viola da gamba is indipendent from the bc only in some few notes.

Both manuscript sources are anonymous, but safely attributed to Gletle thanks to the confrontation with the print.
