In the manuscript D-SÜN Ms 57 two more pieces, not included in the print, are attributed to Marais; the same pieces are included, anonymously, in the manuscript F-Pn Rés ms 1397. Even if in both manuscripts these pieces are without indication of instrumentation, it might be assumed they are intended for dessus de viole as well.
The first of the re-editions by Roger in Amsterdam is known only from his catalogues 1697-1698, where it is announced as Les Trios de M. Marais pour les flustes, violons, hautbois etc. or Les Trios de M. Marais pour les flustes, violons, hautbois & dessus de viole. The title of the second edition by Roger, Amsterdam, is the same as in the Paris edition.
