The hypothesis of attribution is based on the presence in the same manuscript of a sonata, here anonymous but attributed to Gottfried Finger with the help of other sources (see) and a certain conformity to his violistic language.
A part for bc, which was certainly included, is missing.
The Sonatella bears the title Pars secunda; a Pars prima is probably lost.
